Widespread attention continues to be drawn to the ecological effects of roads, especially as the road system continues to expand. Roads are created because of continuous interactions between people and their environments. They are created to facilitate access to natural resources, to connect human communities, to move goods to markets, and to move people to work. Whatever their purpose, roads and road establishments, road maintenance and road travel have a broad variety of effects.

Almost all the roads in our street are ruined. The situation has become serious and causes many accidents and sometimes extensive damage to vehicles. Many accidents happen daily because of the worsening conditions of the roads. Citizens of our community especially in our street pay their vehicle taxes and they deserve better roads at least roads that are good enough to drive on.

The lack of a proper drainage system is also responsible for this damage. Therefore it is not really a surprise to find that poor drainage system results in water flooding roads and that in turn results in damaging them. The present situation has really become painful and distressing for the citizens who need to use these roads to commute from one place to another.

Another downfall of the poor road conditions in our community is the spinal problems associated with it through daily crossing in the said street. Many residents complain about the lower back pains and other spinal related injuries which also resulted in additional expenses having  to visit medical doctors outside our community just to have a medical check up.

The objective of this petition is that these main roads are in need of major upgrades that’s why these poor road constructions should be a priority project of the government for the road construction agencies and companies to provide excellent road construction to approaching months and years. The people in our community will be very grateful and really are looking forward to this reconstruction.

The residents of our community or for that matter the entire country, we all deserve better than what we are getting. It is a right of every citizen to have better roads to drive on right?
